Ichiban Japanese Steak House #1 Hixson

My son and I went and it was at best terrible. They evidently don’t properly clean the table/counter off every time after group. The cook was not engaging at all. Maybe 5 words entire time. I go for the entertaining and engaging show you get out of the presentation. The shrimp was over cooked and extremely dry as was the chicken. It was a very unpleasant experience and probably the last. It used to be my go to place.

Our first time here and wow hands down some of the sweetest people ever! We will definitely be coming back without a doubt. The man and woman working here (maybe the owners?) were absolutely amazing. You can truly tell they love their customers. Such a warm welcome and a genuinely inviting atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Highly recommend this place! 💛✨

After being a customer for 20+ years I can no longer recommend this place. Waiting 1.5 hours for a take-out order to only get what is seen in the photo attached and a “sorry” for $50. Says a lot… I won’t be back and I will make sure my family and friends aren’t either. Do better.

The owners are some of the absolute sweetest people you'll ever meet. We've been going for years and the service and food is amazing. Can't emphasize enough how great just the place is, but the people who own it ❤️❤️

I’ve been going here all my life because the food is amazing, owners are very sweet and they have the secret sauce to fried rice! No one else in Chattanooga has as good of fried rice, filet, or hibachi chicken as they do. We ALWAYS choose this one over the other one on hixson pike. All fees are listed on the menu, so don’t listen to some of these Negative Nelly’s on here.

Brought a guest for the first time. GROUP OF Seven. Very disappointed in the service ..food was flip in the air and the cook said it happened all the time...sorry been here before never happened before!!

Absolute best hibachi in Chattanooga! The flavors are unmatched. Sauces are better than competing places and staff is very friendly and personable. Highly recommend this location over any other. You won’t regret it
