Coffee was very good, although I wish they gave refills. They could not fry my eggs for some reason. Eggs and grits were good. Wish it came with more than 2 pieces of bacon. Asked for apple butter got grape jam instead. Salt and pepper should be on the table.

Visiting Chattanooga for the first time. Wanted to have some good coffee and what a coincidence my wife suggested Mean Mug Coffee House and it did not disappoint. Had a French Press coffee and it was amazing. I highly recommend this Coffee House.

We were driving through Chattanooga and decided to try Mean mug. We stood there for a few minutes and realized the woman in front of us had ordered on an app that they did not recognize and had ordered eight to go coffees. The barista was somewhat rude to her about it, and never acknowledged us standing there for about five minutes. They were not busy and had plenty of baristas to take our order. So we left and did not get a chance to try the coffee and went to Starbucks.

Omg what a great cup of espresso with activated charcoal and Vanilla, not sweet but just right. The biscuit sandwich was on point and seems like it was made from scratch. Very good and highly recommended. I’m sad I live in Nashville otherwise I would come here daily.

Mean Mug made sure my mean mug turned upside down every morning... because I am NOT a morning person - so having this location next door to our hotel (the Aloft) was PERFECT. The decor is super cute! Loved the interior and wish I could have stayed to appreciate it. I brought the pup to grab a cup of coffee and a quick bite but dogs are not allowed inside, which is understandable since they do have a kitchen and serve food. We ordered inside and after I took some pics, we sat outside in the outdoor seating area. The nitro latte is SO GOOD! I downed it and had to stop myself from ordering another. I did end up getting a second one the next day though LOL. We had brunch plans but wanted a quick bite first in case there was a wait - the smoked salmon bagel was a pretty and loaded option that I appreciated, especially for the price ($8 in 2022). Overall, a solid coffee shop in an area surrounded by chain restaurants. Definitely recommend!

I Ordered a salmon smoked bagel and dirty chai for pickup from Uber eats. The salmon on my bagel smelled terrible and tasted nasty. I had to remove the salmon. The dirty chair was pretty gross too. I wouldn’t recommend buying this.

I visit this coffee shop when I visit Chattanooga which is usually about 10 times a year , today the beautiful Chloe waited on me , her sweet smile and her attention to detail were awesome just like when I am at home in cville …thank you Chloe so much for taking the time I making my very complicated order with such ease!!!
All I can say is cinnamon roll. Cinnamon roll cinnamon roll. Hostess was a good sport and let me pick the 2 biggest they had. Cozy looking place to sip Java and eat cinnamon roll

I really wanted there to be more Merch to purchase because the name speaks to my soul! But anyways, cinnamon rolls were HUGE and fresh, muffin was awesome and coffee was on point!

I’ve had takeout twice and I love the delicious healthy food options and the value. Excellent service and the coffee is outstanding! One important recommendation: invest in better plasticware for your takeout customers. Stronger and longer utensils can make all the difference in the enjoyment of the meal when you need to cut things up.
