I recently visited New York Pizza Company in Chattanooga and was thoroughly impressed! The pizza is excellent—authentic New York style with a perfect crust, and as a Long Islander myself, I can vouch for its quality. The ingredients are top-notch, clearly fresh and high-quality, which really shines through in every bite. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was incredibly positive and a genuinely good person—definitely adds to the experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving great NY pizza in the South!

Ordered a Calzone to go. Only issue was the paper underneath the Calzone in the to go container. It got soggy and I didn’t realize it. Other than that, that Calzone was fire 🔥

Nice place. Pizza was very good as well as the pasta alla vodka. Our server was terrible, but Jennifer helped out and she was great. Pasta took so long to get that we had to take it to go.

As someone who grew up in NJ and grew up eating good pizza, this place is very good!!! I would say it's a tie between NY Pizza Company and one other place in town (Portobellos on hwy 58 if you must know) for the BEST authentic pizza in Chattanooga!! The service is always friendly, prompt and professional. I ate half the pie before I got home where my husband and daughter were awaiting the other half.. 😬 YUM!!!

We were looking for a good pizza spot before heading back home to Etowah, TN, and stumbled on New York Pizza Company in Chattanooga after our first choice turned out to be closed (on a Sunday, no less). Honestly, I’m glad it worked out that way, this place was a great find.

The pizza was fantastic. Thin, crispy crust with a solid undercarriage, and the Grandma-style sauce was on point, sweet, garlicky, and balanced out nicely with a drizzle of olive oil. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and know what they’re doing.

The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable, with plenty of booth seating and some impressive murals of NYC, including the George Washington Bridge and Chelsea Pier. It definitely adds to the vibe.

If David Portnoy ever swings through Chattanooga, he needs to give this spot a try. The pizza’s that good.
