Shogun Japanese Steakhouse

Staff was rude and very disregarding. I didn’t even fully give my order before the server moved to the next person after telling my friend and I that we could not share an entree. We were served cold soup, there was an eggshell in the rice and above all the food was just average.

I ordered to go & whn I got home my food was awful. It wasn't seasoned at all. It's normally pretty good but I think it's under new management.

I love hibachi food. Our server (Abby) is awesome. I like going for lunch vs dinner.

Staff is amazing. I watched them deal with a very immature women who was very entitled to say the least extremely professionally. And the sushi is amazing!

I GOT FOOD POISONING FROM HERE!!Long story short, a group of our friends and family went here to celebrate a close friends birthday. Fast forward, we ordered our food, paid over $300+ for everyone in our party and ended the night. EVERYONE in our group that ate the food at Shogun are now either throwing up or having explosive diarrhea, along with EXTREME stomach cramps!!!! A couple of us went to the doctor and we were told we have food poisoning. I haven’t eaten there in years and now I remember why I’ve avoided this restaurant. The staff was super sweet but definitely won’t be back ??

Went for my anniversary and it was amazing! Had the filet mignon and the salmon combo and it was fabulous! The chef was really kind and adhered to my dietary restrictions. Our server Abby was so nice, made conversation and was highly attentive. Definitely recommend going for special occasions or even everyday.

great experience. i brought my daughter for a special occasion and we really really enjoyed all the food. the prices were reasonable and we will be back with the rest of the family

Could not get waited on. Young man that seated us was really nice and very apologetic.Last time here, food was average. We will not go back anytime soon.

If you are looking for great food and to see your meal prepared right in front of you, this is the place to go. The atmosphere is family oriented and the kids love to see the fish and their food cooked right in front the of them. Service and the food are amazing, would definitely recommend.

*UPDATEDThis review is based on a sushi pick-up experience which occurred on Dec 31, 2017.While visiting family from out-of-state, our son wanted sushi as his dinner-of-choice option for his 8th birthday. We ordered >$100 worth of carry-out sushi, which would typically be enough rolls that everyone would be comfortably full when the last piece was eaten.When I went to pick up our order, I was surprised by how small the rolls were. And I was worried that there wouldn't be enough for everyone.As it turned out, that wasn't a problem... The kids started complaining before the adults even took a first bite. We understood why, once we'd had eaten a piece. In the end, no one would eat anything after the first couple of pieces. We all agreed that it was probably the worst sushi we'd ever had. The taste seemed to be a bit "off." And we ended up throwing out probably 2/3 of the food.I can't say that there was the cause-and-effect correlation here. But, everyone who ate sushi that day ended up with "digestive issues" over the next 24 hours.We actually moved to the area a few months later... Suffice to say, in the 4 years that we've lived here, we've never gone back to Shogun.*UPDATED:Updated on Aug 5, 2022, to provide context... after the owner replied to a 4-year-old no-context 1-star rating that I gave after our visit on Dec 31, 2017.

First time dining in and I loved it. Food was great. Enjoyed my evening.

Placed a to-go order and didn't receive my soup or salad with my hibachi dinner combo. My sauces (that I was charged extra for) were either missing or not correct. Very poorly packaged, as the bag was filled with liquid by the time I got it. Do not recommend and will not be returning!

Shogun had always been a favorite for us, but recently quality of food has went downhill. They don't put vegetables in the fried rice anymore either. $110 for 2 adults and 1 kid wouldn't hurt as bad if it were the quality we once received.

Food was great, show was fun, bathrooms were not clean!! Took us 45 mins after being seated to get drinks, we were seated an hour and a half before he started our food, and the waitress was nothing to brag about, idk if we will go back, it's alot of money for sub-par service

Would review 6 stars if I could! The staff and service was great! I honestly don't know how to explain how good the food was! Would 100% come back!
