Sushi Nabe serves fantastic food with an amazing selection of special rolls, including the popular Soddy Daisy roll. The restaurant offers a casual and relaxing atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff who are great. The staff, including the owner Nabe, are very kind, and the waitstaff is a pleasure. Guests can enjoy fresh sushi, tuna rolls, gyoza, hot appetizers like spring rolls and breaded shitake mushroom dish, and warm peach sake at a great price. The restaurant was accommodating with kids, and the waiter made sure everything was just right. Reservations are recommended, as the place is not usually crowded. The cost for a meal is reasonable for good quality food in a downtown location, especially since many don’t drink. Parking can be limited, but it remains a wonderful spot for authentic Japanese cuisine, owned by a lovely Japanese couple, and is definitely worth a visit to this Chattanooga gem.
