My favorite spot for Mexican food hands down in all of Chattanooga. The tamales and street tacos are my go to. Empanadas are delicious, and their drinks are yummy as well! Agua frescas and their cocktails.
Not as good as all it had been hyped up to be. It wasn't bad but it was really just bland. Fresh and bland. Even the salsa Verde was mild and milder with not even a sour or lime or vinegar kick to it. The steak was really the worst. Extremely bland, not grilled or charred on iron. Had almost a gray color and not seasoned. Had a burrito, 2 of 3 kinds they serve. Wonderful guacamole dip, worth taking home. One burrito was in queso, also bland. Supposed to have salsa Verde on...
I come here every year when I visit Chattanooga. Great restaurant with authentic mexican food. The South of Chattanooga offers a variaty of restaurants and this one is amongst my top favorites. The corn from the cob is really special and also ordered the shrimp taco’s served with rice and refried beans. Excellent spicy margaritha. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Could highly recommend.
