first visit today and It was overdue. the chicken strips were incredible. The potato salad, a taste, unlike any I've had before and a cole slaw was outstanding. I wish I'd have found this place a while ago because it was truly one of the nicest and best restaurants I've been into in Chattanooga in the last couple of years. In Chattanooga for a conference and decided to try The Flaming Rooster. Hands down one of the best places to get fried chicken and catfish. The heat and crisp on both were nothing less than perfection. Followed the meal up with lemon pound cake and hubs got the red velvet…nothing but goodness.
Their heat ain’t no joke! I had the hot leg quarter and the flavor was super good, but wooooo! It was spicy. Loved it! I’ve had a lot of fried chicken in this town, and this was one of the best if not the best. The greens were super good too! No complaints ❤️
