(4/16/24, 7:40pm) We came here tonight as two weary and tired travelers from Jacksonville, Florida. A friend, a chef by trade, recommended this place with great accolades. Her endorsement went beyond our expectations. We both were pleasantly surprised by the garlic-clove bread (a simple but hidden treasure!), but the grilled salmon pasta really brought it on home.I was especially thrilled that it came to the table within about 15 minutes of ordering. The salmon was perfect- flaky and buttery. The sauces were a wonderful medley of flavors and paired with the black pepper linguine- WOW!I wish I remembered the name of our server because she was extremely courteous and sweet (long brown hair pulled back, septum piercing) but everything about our dining experience tonight made a long drive a worthwhile comfort. We will be back- and are already discussing our next dive into the menu :) thank you!

We were in Chattanooga celebrating our 13th anniversary. I love pasta and after reading reviews decided to go to Tony’s for our anniversary dinner. Walking in I liked the atmosphere and it is nice you can easily order drinks and there is a stand up bar area for waiting. We only had to wait about 30-40 minutes on a Friday night which I thought was good. Once we sat down our waiter was less than attentive. He barely came to our table. He never offered us cracked pepper or Parmesan, we went to the wait station and got it ourselves. As for the food the bread was great, especially the garlic loaf! We got the low country linguini. It was just ok, not a lot of flavor. You could tell the noodles were homemade which was nice but overall they couldn’t carry the dish. We also got a Caesar salad that was average. We may have just gotten not a great server and not picked the right thing to order but I overall wasn’t very impressed with our experience. Not horrible but we probably won’t go back when we are in town again.

This is my absolute favorite non-Gordan Ramsay restaurant! The garlic bread with the whole cloves of garlic is so good...although maybe not the best if you're on a date...I've been married since the dawn of the dinosaurs so I don't have to care about the potential stinky ramifications of having eaten whole cloves of garlic ?‍♀️...ACTUALLY scratch that...EVEN if you are on a first date, eat the garlic bread anyway! Life if hard. Garlic bread is delicious. Anyone you have to withhold the eating of it for is NOT the one! Sitting on the balcony with the wisteria blooming, the bumble bees buzzing, and the river in the distance is a lovely way to enjoy a meal! :) Devin

Fried salmon bites were raw and freezing cold in the center. But ravioli was amazing. Not allowed to receive bread until you ordered your entree, even if you’ve ordered drinks and apps. I guess too many greedy uncouth people gobbling bread like a rabid animal instead of knowing how to eat one piece like a civilized person. But it seems the restaurant could find a better way to deter these people (maybe charge for bread???) instead of declining bread to well-tipping guests who are there to have dinner and be respectful.

My kid had named Tony's "the place with the good bread." The food is delicious and the service is speedy.

I was visiting Chattanooga contemplating a move to the area and found this beautiful dog-friendly patio with exceptional service provided by cheery and efficient Autumn. Definitely ask for her if you go. I ordered my beverage and it, along with a bread plate with dipping olive oil, arrived. The bread, made onsite, was amazing! Perfectly crunchy exterior, soft inside, studded with roasted garlic. I ate every bit of it. I ordered the mozzarella tomato caprese as a late lunch. It's a generous portion perfect for one as a meal or two as a shared app. Nice ripe tomatoes, greens, plenty of mozzarella and a great balsamic drizzle. I truly enjoyed the views, the relaxing atmosphere, Autumn, and the food. When I return in a few months it will be my first stop and I can't wait to try the upstairs balcony space, the pasta dishes and more of that amazing bread. Go visit this restaurant... You'll be glad you did.

Hands down the best Italian dinner in chattanooga. We visit here often and its amazing as always. Everything is fresh and homemade. Authentic Italian and they don't skip on the flavor! Price is decent for the quality food you get. About $25 a person. Beautiful building and great service. Absolutely no complaints.
