Pop's Place Reviews
Best diner food anywhere! Servers are so nice and so efficient. Victor is the best cook around and his recipes are absolutely wonderful. Everything I have ordered was delicious and there was more than I could eat on the plate. Definitely recommend Pop's.
My husband and I were stuck in Chuckey TN due to the damage of Hurricane Helene. We went a day & half only eating non-perishable items aka junk food because everything was closed & we had nowhere to stay. We came across Pop’s place and it was a full house! Pop's Place is a small, local restaurant that offers downhome cooking, with many dishes made from scratch on the spot. The menu primarily consists of breakfast items, including fresh food and real bacon cooked nice and crisp, but they also serve burgers. They have a great homemade hamburger with crinkle cut fries that makes for a wonderful lunch. While the pricing may be moderate, their homemade dill pickles and biscuits with gravy are not to be missed. Lou, the owner, and his staff are known for their great service and friendly attitude. The restaurant brings back memories of traditional home-cooked meals and is recognized for having one of the best breakfasts around, even offering scrapple. Parking is available in the vicinity, including a small town hardware store's lot. Pop's Place is very child-friendly and has a ramp at the door for wheelchair accessibility. Their kindness to the community, especially during tough times, makes it a true blessing.
