We were visiting and loved the food. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was friendly. We ate there 3 times during our stay in Cleveland. The breakfast was amazing. We asked if City Cafe Diner could come to Alabama. Central Alabama to be precise.

The food was incredible. The desserts were unbelievable. Ashli and Brenda were an amazing help. You need some help because the menu is so extensive! Was here for lunch but I believe breakfast is amazing too. Yall I cant recommend this place highly enough!

Not crazy about staff pounding on the booth seats while I'm eating... fries were delicious. Fried okra not as good as usual.

Good service. Good food. Definitely lots of food. Thank you. The foods they have here are all worth trying I have found. And good. Last night I got chocolate chip pancakes. Yum good. Any of the pancakes are great. I love pancakes anyway. Anyone can get breakfast all day long.

Parking: Parking available near the doors. Parking available right across the street in the back of the building also.

Always a great selection, great service & great food. Your go-to place for picky eaters because they have EVERYTHING! Just looking for dessert? They have a great selection of baked goods & giant pieces of cake that will last for daaaaays!

Parking: The parking lot is average size...you just have to go when it's not busy! It's either 100% full or 10%, not much in between. There are also a couple of rough spots.

I enjoy going to City Cafe Diner ever so often. It usually correlates family coming in town.
Our waiter was excellent I believe that we portrayed that to him in the proper manner.
He had a great since of humor and was of excellent service.
Almost every took leftovers home plus a cake slice of their choice.
I gave 4 for atmosphere because I was the last one seated at the end of the booth.....and it was kinda noisy.

Kind of a diner but a lil off and if two people at a table order burgers but you only ask one of them how they wanted it cooked and not the other it’s rude. Then my burger came out well done af and dry like the Desert! Fries were ok and my wife had a good sandwich but…still.

I ordered the half rack of ribs and baked potato and broccoli. The ribs were perfect fall other bone tender and baked potato was baked perfectly. Broccoli was also tender. The sweet tea was just that, sweet.
