I don't write reviews but I felt this warranted one. I've been coming here for some time and have always gotten the same sandwich. This place has always been pricey but I really enjoyed the sandwich and felt it was worth it every once in awhile to splurge. Today was the first day I have been to the restaurant since they closed for about a week and apparently they have changed their menu. I got the same sandwich I've normally gotten (actually an ingredient or two less), a bag of chips, and a water and my bill was over $17. When my sandwich came I noticed that the pickle they usually provide you with was missing and I asked the young lady who brings out the food if they quit serving pickles. She advised that they charge extra for pickles now. Basically, my meal that would have been considered high at about $13 before is now over $17 and possibly $18 with the pickle. The food is good but not that good. I'll not be back.

Deli Boys was a wonderful place. Honestly would have recommend this place to anyone and would have said it was one of the best places to eat in Cleveland, And that was only 2 weeks ago.

A hidden gem in Cleveland! Wonderful service, friendly and the food is great! A must for lunch with a group or alone. The cakes are gluten free and delicious!

Have came to deli boys for years, and have recommended and brought so many people to this place to try their sandwiches. I have always been such a huge fan, until today. I was a regular that routinely got their Turkey Fajita sandwich which honestly was one of the best meals I have ever had. I entered their store today to get some to go food for my wife and I, and was made aware that the new owner had changed up their menu almost completely and sandwich sizes. I was saddened to learn that my favorite sandwich was no longer on the menu, unless I did the create your own to try to recreate it, but for an even more expensive price. So I decided to go the “CHEAPER†route and ordered the “firebird†sandwich for both my wife and I. After ordering I was given my total of $36.00 for two sandwiches with chips and a drink. Not only was the sandwich not that big, or that good bc it was rather dry, it was $36.00. There is no sandwich on Earth that's worth that for two people to eat lunch. The week before this new “change†my wife and I took a friend and it was roughly , $22-24 for both of us to eat, which is still high but it was worth it for the quality. I have been a loyal customer to deli boys but will not be back until they adjust some things back to the old way. I can understand the menu change, as I have worked in the restaurant industry for the past 5 years and that happens. But the price increase to an already extremely expensive menu is borderline absurd, especially when I can take my wife out for a decently nice steak dinner for around the same price. Hopefully they will return back to a little of their old ways, but $18 for an 8†sandwich , chips, and a drink has got to change.

This was my first visit and it honestly blew me away, the sandwiches and soups are amazing. Very clean place, and customer service exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be back and referring people about this place.

(5/17/19) I decided to try the Deli Boy's cheeseburger with 30 day aged beef after seeing it listed as a special today... I kid you not, it was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time! Also, big shout out to the friendly staff and manager who ensured that everything was satisfactory.
