A tiny diner on First Street. It is busy pretty much every time we go, but there's always a seat available within a few minutes. Great breakfast menu, especially biscuits with gravy. Very friendly staff and atmosphere.
We visited today at 1:30 for breakfast item. The coffee was great. I ordered 2 eggs scrambled, hashbrowns, grits and toast. I should have just had coffee. The service was great. The atmosphere was what was expected in a small restaurant. My food was terrible. First the color of the eggs was off, the grits also had an off color and taste. Too much savory and pepper flavor for one thing. The hashbrowns were also blah looking, and so greasy. I made myself eat.the egg and toast...
The environment is really cute! Usually pretty packed, but seating generally opens up. Their food is phenomenal! Everyone is nice and polite. This diner has a great family feel to it and their decor is very comely. I brought my spouse in for the first time today and he really liked the food. My cousin brought me here a month or so ago and it's become my preferred breakfast restaurant.
