Our service was well below average. Our server took our order and we never saw her again. I had asked for a beer and a shot of tequila, she said they weren't permitted to serve a patron more than one alcoholic drink at a time. Never in my 44 years have I heard that, but I said asked that she bring that shot in 10 minutes. SHE NEVER CAME BACK. I asked the bartender for one and she looked at me like she's never interacted with a human being and said I would have to order through my server. Well, we couldn't find her. When our food finally came, my husband's was inedible and we had to flag down another server to get the manager. The manager made excuses for her saying she was in the back acting as the expo, but if the expo isn't there, the manager steps in and doesn't rely on a server with tables. Plus I had seen maybe three other tables receive their food before us. It wasn't busy at all. The reason I didn't give one star is my food was decent and our childrens food was decent. The bathrooms were clean. I will not go back unless they get new management and train their servers to actually serve. Find somewhere else to eat.

Always a great experience going here. Great place for military veterans! Since I am not a fan of sushi, I go for the burgers. The wraps are also good. My wife likes the bowls.
Dined here on 9/17. My first time, but my dining companions had been here often and it's their favorite in the area. Great food selection and sushi, burger, and tacos were fantastic! Great cole slaw! Our server, Peyton, was excellent...friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We tipped less than he deserved in error but will make it up to him in the future! So sorry!

I’ve never got a response back on a couple of reviews. Sometimes it’s good sometimes it’s pretty bad . Waitress at the front bar always excellent . I’ve actually felt bad for them having to deal with bad or wrong orders from the kitchen. I had to send back my food one visit three times. I just gave up and took it home in a carry out . Very inconsistent.

I’ve been going to Drake’s in Cookeville off and on for almost a year now, and I’ve never had a bad experience. Tonight was no different, but I’d say it was the best service I’ve ever received there.
I had been craving a great-tasting burger, and despite not being too keen on smashed burgers, I decided to try the cheddar burger with tots. The meal was excellent, but the service made it even better.
Although the restaurant wasn’t very busy, I asked if it would be possible to have a little fire going, as that’s one of my favorite things about the place. My waitress, Emma, went and got her manager, Brandon, who kindly built a small fire for me.
It’s the simple things that make a difference, and I was able to sit and enjoy the fire after finishing my meal. A big thank you to Emma, Brandon, and the cooks for an outstanding visit!
