The food is incredible, I wish we lived closer we would be regulars. I encourage Cookeville to try this authentic mix of Filipino and Thai food. Affordable and delicious. Service was above and beyond.

and I'm Filipino and was a little disappointed with my solo dinner experience. I've waited a little bit too long for the order to be taken up to the front desk for three staff we're talking. After my meal was served my mild curry it tasted more like a level heat and no one server came up to check on me after 15 minutes my meal was pretty much done by then. What's really a bother is that I hear their conversations upfront with the young staff talking to their friends probably too loud and no one bothered to check in on me I'm waiting for my check as we speak... :-/ i like there's this option and will give this young staff another chance

Easy to find and it’s in a good location. The host/server was friendly but the other workers seemed inconvenienced by our presence. The place had an interesting selection for music; this is a Thai and Filipino restaurant and they are playing Hispanic music that one would expect at a texmex restaurant. I guess it was kind of funny. The food was the biggest disappointment, particularly the entrees. The lechon kawali was terrible. The best part of the dish was the green onions on the rice. Seriously was a 2/10; the pork belly was cold and seemed like it had been sitting for hours before being served. My wife’s dish, the BBQ skewer was decent. Maybe a 5/10. Our friend got the drunken noodles and they were slightly better. 6/10. The best part was the fried rice, I’d give it a solid 8/10. The lumpia was disappointing. 3/10. The crab Rangoon was a solid 7/10. The Thai tea and Thai coffee were both very good. 9/10. My wife is from the Philippines and we were excited to try this location because we have no Filipino restaurant in my area. We left disappointed. We will not be back. My wife can cook way better than this restaurant any day of the week. Save your hard earned money and find another location that wants you to eat there and actually shows love for their food.

Fil-Thai is our favorite go to restaurant in Cookeville! We went there this time to celebrate something amazing Jesus did in our lives. Best Thai food in the area. We splurged this time and got the Tour platter. It had our favorite dishes, and it was so much food we had many leftovers. The Thai tea is so good! Crab ragoons are the best we've ever had. Don't miss out on some of the best food in Cookeville, and the service is always wonderful too. Portions are also huge. Thank you Fil-Thai for becoming our comfort food and the way we celebrate!❤️

It was really good but be warned they do not mess around on their spice level. I like Spicy and usually ask for the max spicy everywhere I go. I went with a spicy 3/5 and 4/5 for the two dishes I tried and could barely eat them lol next time no spicy. It was really good still though.
Literally the best Filipino food I have had in years. This was incredible. I got the bbq skewers and my wife got the pork adobo. Both were perfect. And the lumpia can hang with the best of 'em. And the price point is great too.
