By far the best restaurant in town! Such a great fun family atmosphere, the team is always friendly and knowledgeable. I have a very severe gluten allergy (celiac) and have never been sick eating here!

Pueblo Viejo is by far the best Mexican restaurant in Cookeville (and we've tried them all!). We are always greeted with a smile. The staff is attentive. The food is authentic and delicious! Big desert lover here.. MUST try the Sopaipilla with ice cream!

They're practically family!! They remember us every time we visit, about once a week, although I'm a creature of habit, the Pueblo Viejo special with steak is my go-to! The margaritas are top-notch, with blueberry being my favorite. There's nothing like them around! The spice and flavors are far superior to the more Americanized versions around. Check them out, and you won't be disappointed!! 10/10 reccomend!

Oh my! The huaracha and birria tacos are amazing! My friend and I split both dishes and I'm so glad we did! I couldn't pick a favorite if i tried, except for the broth with the tacos. That was delicious!
