Taqueria Don Carbon Express

Moved to Cookeville a few months ago. Have been looking for the best Mexican food and I think I have found it. Got the mulitas and enchiladas with rice and beans. It was all delicious and the salsas were all good as well!! I’ll definitely be back.

I thought it was very good. Got birria tacos which were excellent if a bit pricey. I'd say I'd like the tortillas fried a bit more but that would be the only criticism I have. The service was awesome. Really like the guy who was working there.

The food was overpriced for the quality. The taste was okay, but the prices were comparable if not more expensive than Nashville which is puzzling since Cookeville is more affordable. The rice and beans were disappointing especially given the price we paid for our plate.

We also could not communicate with the guy who took our order, he could not speak English and had to call someone to translate for us. Eventually we just took pictures of the menu and showed what we wanted to him.

Man everything is fire, dude is chill it's overall a great place, authentic for sure and if you don't know what to get, get the steak quesadillas you won't be sorry!

Excellent food and customer service!

Me and my fiancé have only ever had the birria pizza from here, but it is absolutely delicious. 10/10 recommend that birria pizza to everyone I see.

Love these dudes. The barria tacos are insanely good. They always make me feel at home, even though I'm just visiting. One day I came over to place an order, and they had some bologna tortillas with jalapenos eggs and onions, on their lunch break! Dude, they asked me to pull up and eat with them... OF COURSE I DID!!

Best authentic tacos around 🔥

Very fast service. I only tried one menu item so I can't say much about the rest of the menu but the photos make it look good. Will definitely see about coming back again later
