Just had a spiritual experience eating this chicken shawarma. It was so hot and the sauce was divine. My mom said the Eggplant Parm sandwich was great too. Thank you for the friendly service and for blessing me with this meal!

My new favorite lunch spot in Cookeville - and I haven't even tried their pizza yet! We had a gyro and a Turkish Taco and both were delicious. The meats were cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly, and the side of tabouli was fresh and tasty! Though their pizza may be a local legend, I plan to work my way through the sandwich menu first. Yes, the food was that good! Service was friendly and faster than expected as it was the beginning of the lunch rush. There's not a huge amount of space to eat in, but we were seated comfortably. The deli case is classic Italian deli with lovely cheeses and a large selection of salami, prosciutto and other tasty treasures. Did I mention the luscious looking cheesecakes? At least seven different kinds when we were there! I highly recommend World Foods for a fresh and tasty lunch! Can't wait to go back to try the muffaletta!

We have eaten here a few times and love the pizza, greek salads and sandwiches. Always fresh and people working there are the best. Wish that parking was a little more convenient. Well worth the visit.

Food was delicious! My husband got a philly cheese steak sandwich and I got a chicken pesto pita and both came with a side. They tasted authentic and delicious, and my husband was very happy that his sandwich wasn't greasy as most philly cheese steaks tend to be. Cute little pizzeria and sandwich shop!
