Stopped in after hearing about it! Took one look at the price’s and decided it was way more than we wanted to spend (16.00 for a sandwich not including any sides). We sat for around 10 minutes without out drink order even being taken while the wait staff conversed with someone he knew. There were 8 people seated including us. Decided it wasn’t for us so we got up to leave. Some pretentious older guy comes over and ask if something was wrong, I politely explained that we didn’t see anything on the menu that interested us. He got belligerent. “You don’t like good food? There are plenty other places in town to go eat like that!” I tried to hold my tongue as he continued to get louder explaining that they had a Sicilian trained chef! I said, “sir we’re locals and we know all the places around town that serve amazing food.” He was angered further, says “ I don’t think you are”, as he follows me to the front door! I said “look man, I’m not paying 16.00 for a sandwich with no sides regardless of how good it is”. If you think you’re gonna get my business being like that you can kick rocks. I literally thought I was about to get physical with the man! It’s Copperhill not the Caribbean and certainly not Sicily!

Think we just found our new little tradition! Phenomenal food! We had been hiking earlier in the day and stopped in here. We had the Lasagna which was absolutely balanced between the meat and cheese and topped it off with the Key Lime Pie. All the staff was so very friendly and attentive. We live in Ga but our next hike back to Turtletown Creek Falls, we will be stopping in! We even got a TShirt! Thank you for the wonderful service and food!

Is this a 5 star restaurant? Not if you’re trying to compare it to the best of all time. Is it 5 star in this part of town? Without a doubt. This is the best option at TN/GA border. It’s has true 5 star service and fun atmosphere. The food and drinks are always on point. It’s not a hit or miss place and that’s truly comforting. Can’t recommend this enough for the locals and friendly tourists.
Our first dinner at the Waterfront Bar was simply delicious! We arrived early and were greeted warmly at the door, and promptly seated outside on their lovely patio overlooking the Ocoee River.The owner came to our table, welcomed us and suggested a Beaujolais. We took him up on it, and loved it.My wife opted for the evening special: Coq au vin, accompanied by delicious potatoes and green beans. I chose the All Cattle & No Hat, thin strips of flat steak smothered in a savory mushroom sauce, served with an awesome potato cake and balsamic side green salad. There wasn't a bite left on either plate!This unpretentious spot in Copperhill should definitely be on your "must try" list.

I’ve lived in the Blue Ridge/McCaysville area for five years. I have been a patron of The Waterfront since it opened.I had my family and a close family friend visit from FL. They wanted to go somewhere on the river with a great view, good food, and wanted a change of pace from the Blue Ridge fine dining establishments. Of course I knew the place. The Waterfront was one of the highlights of their trip. We ate outside on the deck with a great view of the Ocoee River. My mom and our friend had the All Cattle and No Hat steak dish, dad had the Octoberfest schnitzel special, and I had the Buffalo chicken Parmesan sandwich (which was delicious and maybe better than the traditional although that is delicious too). Everyone enjoyed their meal. We also had several delicious cocktails. There was live music and we were singing along to Hank Williams Jr music and having the best time. Danial and Dorothy the owners are the best and so kind. Our server Wendy was also excellent. Thank you for the wonderful evening. Also I have to say they have the best Bloody Mary in the tristate area hands down. The prices are also always reasonable. $150 for four people with all the cocktails we had and for the delicious food we had was not bad at all, especially compared to other places we went to before going to the waterfront! Will keep coming back! You guys are awesome!
