This place was recommended to us several times from a local family member. We ate there during this summer's trip and were very satisfied. The gentleman at the counter who took our order was extremely friendly and patient and informative. The food was awesome, as well as the atmosphere. We will be returning the next time we're in Covington.

Love, love, love the food here. It reminds me of the taco shops in San Diego or Tijuana. By that, I mean the food is fantastic. The service is a little slow, especially on busy days but it is worth every minute of wait time. Everything I have tried here is delicious. The only thing that is missing is the salsa bar and hot carrots. I was not super excited to live away from the style of Mexican food that I love... But this brought me so much joy. We were referred to Jose's Mexican Street Food. The atmosphere isn't your typical T-County Mexican restaurant. This isn't a bad thing. The gentleman behind the counter helped us place our order, due to our first time visiting the establishment. I had a tamale and the steak taco.
