About The Cellar Restaurant and Prohibition Bar

The Cellar Restaurant and Prohibition Bar in Covington offers a cool speak-easy vibe for a perfect dinner outing. Located in Covington square, the restaurant has a unique atmosphere that looks like an old prohibition cellar. The food is generally good, with the steak cooked to perfection and the mushroom ravioli pasta and fettuccine Alfredo pasta highly recommended, ensuring a delightful and relaxing evening. The street corn appetizer is also delicious. The service is attentive and friendly, which adds to the great dining experience. Guests often enjoy the large drink menu and live entertainment, making it a fun place to spend an evening with friends. Despite some setbacks like occasional delays and a less-than-ideal experience on a Monday, the overall atmosphere and quality of food make The Cellar a popular spot in Covington.

The service was so so but being that we have waited close to an hour for our food. Maybe 5 tables total - this was on the kitchen staff.

Slow service despite being slow. The drinks were not good. I had a takeout order and didn’t not get my sides.

The food when this place first opened was great. It has declined drastically. The steak tastes bland and cheap. Covered in fat. I ordered shrimp Alfredo and the noodles had no taste. The shrimp had no kind of seasoning. Horrible.
