7 Best American Restaurants in Covington

“Thank you for a wonderful lunch! We have been in a couple of times since the change in ownership. The first time, we were a little taken aback with the disgruntled employees voicing their thoughts and opinions to the customers. They apparently disliked the new handhelds and the changes that were taking place. The food was excellent and we left knowing we would be back and hoped the kinks would work themselves out. We went again last week and were extremely pleased with so many things. When we walked in, the bright, clean walls were a breath of fresh air! Everything looked so clean and we loved the chalkboard specials immediately! We had excellent service and food too! We learned that most of the old staff is gone, for whatever reason, but the new staff was very friendly and competent. We did not leave feeling uncomfortable and expressed how much we liked everything before we left. I know that people usually do not like change and tend to band together, but this should not be a time for that. We should be protecting small businesses, helping small business owners and wanting things to succeed in our area. Owning a restaurant is hard enough without added pressure from those that cannot see that change can be a good thing. This is a good thing and we should all support them! We will definitely be back and have shared our experience with many people in this area and people from other areas that we recommend to come shop and eat in Covington. “We all had a delicious hamburgers and onion petals, Brussels sprouts, and/or coated french fries. They were all so delicious 😋 MaryAnn was or server and she was so sweet. Great service with great food and great friends. Highly recommend this place.“

Brought lunch to our home recently, knowing that I was ill from a medical procedure. Angles like this are hard to find.“

They knew regulars orders as soon as they walked in the door from just seeing their faces and very expedient on getting to you severing you and the food was fast in fresh . Down the road a bit is a wendys if you don't like fish might just see me in the wendys as im a manager there occasionally when they need me“

“The food here is excellent. I enjoyed it and the people that I was with seem to enjoy their food. I'm going to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and say I believe that they were a little understaffed. Tonight. There was a considerable weight from the order to win the food service began. I think the young lady's working tonight were diligent but they didn't seem happy about being there. Every indication like I said would be that maybe they were short-staffed. If you're patient and you want a quality meal, I would suggest this place. If you're in a hurry, maybe think twice.“
