Food is ok way over priced for the quality the atmosphere is great

Recommended dishes: Banana Pudding, Baked Beans

The food has not improved since the remodel. My advice is take a picnic and enjoy the outdoors instead.

Went for Mother’s Day and we were totally disappointed and shocked by the $34/ea price. We have eaten here for many years but won’t be back unless something changes. Our meal consisted of sliced turkey or ham sandwich meat, mashed potatoes, broccoli, green beans, gravy, dressing, Mac and cheese, salad and assorted deserts and not homemade rolls. We could have had freshly cooked steak and lobster for that price. But mainly we were disappointed by the low quality food. The service was great, as usual.

This is a great place to eat. Great views, very nice dining area. And the food on the buffet was fabulous. I took a coach of people in there today and they handled us with absolutely no problem. Highly recommend!!

The restaurant is so beautiful. Has inside seating with lake vie and outdoor patio dining. The service was excellent and food was delicious. Price of food was very reasonable and large portions. Has small gift shop. Very kid friendly. Staff was very friendly. We absolutely loved our visit here.

The green beans tasted like they came straight from a can. The rice pilaf was overly salty and didn’t even taste like proper rice—possibly pre-packaged as well. Overall, the food quality was terrible.

We arrived at 6:15, not realizing the restaurant closed at 7:00. Although our waiter was friendly and pleasant, she became more concerned about closing up as the time neared 7:00 than serving us. The catfish was okay, but my fried okra and sweet potatoes had obviously been reheated, and were basically inedible. Beautiful view from the dining room to the river, but otherwise the whole experience was pretty disappointing.

Held a dinner meeting 15-20 people at the restaurant. The food was spectacular, the best country fried steak I have ever had. Environment was clean and just perfect with a great view. I was hesitant because they no longer have the buffet but they have raised to the occasion with food and accommodating our group. Will be dining there more often and highly recommend!
