“Y’all ready I actually lived here my entire life so I’m a bit partial to the area, I’ve been coming to the River Heights Restaurant before my feet would touch the floor in a normal chair and the food was good then and it is now.Now this is not a 5 star restaurant and it’s not meant to be, it does has a good atmosphere it very clean and that’s important these days and the food is really good not Ruth’s Chris good but really it doesn’t cost 100’s either. Our server Britney was over the top!! Great job!!So come on by you won’t be disappointed I certainly haven’t in 30 years!!Also here’s the most current menus“
“This is a small diner type restaurant. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I had a hankering for chocolate gravy and they were out. The cook was nice enough to make it fresh for me. Stop by and try their breakfast all day on the weekends.“
“Very pleasant atmosphere. Staff very friendly. I had the catfish filets (delicious and NOT at all greasy) and my wife had grilled catfish (delicious!!). Our friends enjoyed the smothered chicken breast, covered with sautéed onions and peppers. We will be back and certainly DO RECOMMEND.“
“One of our favorite places. Discovered years ago. Just keeps getting better and better. You will not be disappointed.Wheelchair accessibility: The upper level seating is accessible but being near the main entrance is a higher foot traffic area if that matters at all to anyone.“
“Delicious home style cooking, and something for everyone! My husband had a beautiful large salad, which he loved, and I had a burger and fries and they were delicious. Homemade desserts that were yummy as well. If you find your way to this downhome store and restaurant, you will have a really delicious meal and great service! Oh and I almost forgot about dessert - YUMMY homemade lemon cake! I wish we could have brought the whole cake home with us! Service and food were terrific!Kid-friendliness: Plenty of food choices for little ones!“
“So good! We chanced upon this little gem while shopping nearby and decided to give it a try. It's a small family run business and they really seem to care about the quality they provide. Everything we tried was wonderful and the prices were unbelievably reasonable! We had the Hillbilly Eggrolls for an appetizer and they could've been a meal in themselves. We received three piping hot, huge rolls stuffed with delicious smoked chicken and served with a fabulous homemade ranch for dipping. Yum!! The BBQ chicken loaded baked potatoes were the biggest we'd ever seen and so good. We could barely finish half so had another meal to look forward to at home! Loved the coleslaw. Service was friendly and attentive. Ambiance was "BBQ informal" but the place was welcoming and very clean. We will definitely be back to try more! They're open Thursday through Saturday at this time. Friday is the only day they offer brisket and ribs are Saturday only.“
“Mayberry AtmosphereSouthern Hospitality at Molly Monday's, both among Staff, and Patrons. Good selection on the Breakfast Bar, and the Fried Catfish is tops!Vegetarian options: Plant based burgers, fresh salads, many sides freshly preparedWheelchair accessibility: No steps and broad entrance“
“We had a large group of people and were seated quickly, even though they were quite busy. E learned that they were down 3 staff in the kitchen and one waitress, but everyone had a good attitude and worked hard to make sure we didn't have to wait too long. Food was quite good and portions were large. Would definitely recommend.“
“Really great food both on the buffet daily or choices off the menu!! It is always uplifting when I go because the entire staff make you feel as if you are one of their own. I come to Savannah for a week twice a month to visit my husband who is in Hardin Home with advanced dementia Alzheimer's type and it's a must for me to visit Halle's Hangout a few times the weeks I'm in town.“
“Great food. The design of the restaurant is outstanding.Be prepared for a wait sometimes as they stay busy.We had the homemade pork skins (free), the blooming bologna and the mystery burger with onion rings. Around $50 or so with drinks before tip. Most restaurants with that quality would be $75 - $100 or more.“
