We have been wanting to come here for a while and it did not disappoint! The food was amazing and so was the service! The owner was even nice enough to tell us about the history! We can’t wait to go back!

Do yourself a favor, take the back roads, come hungry and be prepared for a great experience you won't forget. :-)
we have being going there for 4 years it was awesome when we first started going. then the quality of the meat didnt seem like it was the same stringy and alot of grissel. so we stopped going after the 2nd time getting bad steaks .so we decided last night to go back and it was awful my steak was so stringy and tough couldn't eat it .I dont mind paying for good food but when I pay close to $100.for supper and leave hungry is ridiculousafter driving 45 minutes.

The staff and owner are super nice, attentive, and genuinely interested in the guests, often conversing and ensuring everyone is happy.
The food is great, delicious, and the best, with specific praise for the steak and rib-eye steaks being the best tasting. The baked potato and salad are also delicious. Some notes mention the sweet tea is perfectly southern, while the mash potatoes could use improvement and fries can sometimes be cold. Overall, the experience is solid and will not disappoint. Many guests, some traveling from places like Birmingham and Athens, highly recommend the restaurant and plan to return soon to enjoy both the meal and the super nice atmosphere.
