We had a party of eight, the server was attentive. The outdoor patio could use more comfortable seating, but the food was hit or miss. But worst of all the server didn’t tell us when she brought her hand held credit machine the total amount already had a 20 percent tip included. Not a good policy when dealing with locals.

Always great food, music and people at Cowboys.. Took the kids out a few weekends ago for the foam party and country music..They had a blast.. Try Rhett’s short rib grilled cheese, it’s amazing. Thank you to the owners Rhett and Alicia for making us feel like family.

If you want food and a place to have a normal conversation, then this ain't it. Im sure it was just tonight, but the kitchen got way behind. Our waitress was great, felt bad for her honestly (she was the only daving grace). The kitchen did everybody wrong tonight. They had a lot of good distractions to keep the kids entertained, but we waited 1.5hrs for the food. At that point, we all just wanted to eat and get out. The waitress comped us another 2 small fried pickles. Place is LOUD. Im sure a lot of people like that kind of place. I think at a bar, its awesome. Not at a bar and grill. Just a lot of chaos w the music cranked to 11.

This was our first visit here. We were extremely unimpressed especially with the amount of our check based on mediocre food. ServIce was fair, atmosphere was only so-so which was another let down. Our check was $110 with a tip. We can go to Knoxville and have steaks for that kind of total. We won't be back.

Great little place, atmosphere is exactly what you'd want if your trying to get a little bit of Buffet in the mountains on the water. Portions are small for what you pay, the chip trio looks good on the picture but they give you a small handful of chips, I said something to the waitress & she said no problem & then charged me on the bill. The sliders say piled high but they absolutely are not. They didnt offer a bill, just told me what i owed, I paid & then had to request a bill/reciept. I will be back because of the atmosphere & the food absolutely wasnt bad but hopefully management sees the review & fixes the small issues, I will then update my review.
This truly is the happiest place on Douglas lake. It is so welcoming for everyone young and old Plus it's the most dog-friendly establishment I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. A 10+10 !!!!
