Excellent place to eat....great prices and good variety! Everything taste yummy too!
Isaiah 117 It all started with a T-shirt and a wooden box. Mike and I moved to Tennessee partially in 2020 and finished in 2021. Of course you have to check out the local diners for some good grub. One of the places we went to on occasion was Owen’s in Dandridge. I noticed that the waitresses were wearing a T-shirt that said something about the Isaiah house. I did not have a clue. Then I also noticed a white wooden box shaped like a house that was clearly for donations. I usually don’t put money into boxes without checking out what it was all about. After a few more visits to Owen’s, I googled the organization. Hmmm, I liked what I read. There was a link for an online book that I listened to via Spotify. It told the entire story of how Rhonda’s eyes were opened to seeing a need for foster children here in Tennessee. How her and her husband were on the path of becoming foster parents and how they noticed that sometimes children who are removed from their biological family without a plan for where they will go next. Sometimes the social worker would have them stay in the office, even overnight until a foster family could be found. This broke Rhonda’s heart. Isaiah 1:17 says we should defend the fatherless, Rhonda was convicted. Yes, why couldn’t there be a place kids could go that was overflowing with love during such a difficult time. Out of that conviction grew Isaiah 1 17 house. Beautiful White House’s with a red front door that welcomes children with open arms. They bathe, they clothe, they feed, they give a warm bed, they provide safety, warmth and lots of love. Children may stay up to 3 nights as the social worker figures out where this child or children will be placed. My love for this organization as just one person has spread. I first introduced it to my friend Martha, then to my P.E.O. Sisterhood and now to my church. My heart is full. One T-shirt and a wooden box has now influenced many people here in Knoxville, Tennessee. I like the Pecan Pancakes!

I didn’t know what to expect when I ordered a breakfast sandwich with lettuce on it but I’m hooked now. I love 5 hours away and I can’t stop thinking about the breakfast I had here two months ago. Everything we got here was amazing and they were so nice to my kids who were hangry and acting out. I can’t wait to eat here again on our next trip to Dandridge!

Had been wanting to try this place. They open early. Was delightful. Portions are large, the only thing is no substitutions are allowed if you want something other than what is listed on the menu as coming with the meal. The food was good a bit greasy for our liking but otherwise very good. All and all check them out. They seem busy all the time. Prices are not bad. Love the gravy by the way. True southern. Try it you will like it.
Kid-friendliness: This is a kid friendly restaurant. The kids that were there when I was really seemed to enjoy it. They have choices for the little ones.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is not a paved parking lot. Gravel. There are two doors to open to get in and out. It is doable for wheel chair access however, not as easy as others I have been to.

Had breakfast here TWICE, we enjoyed it so much. Wilma was an awesome waitress! Our second breakfast was better than the first. The pancakes were light and fluffy.
