Monkey Town Brewing & Restaurant offers a variety of tasty beers and a diverse menu, including large portions of dishes like catfish and a sweet and tangy chicken sandwich. Guests consistently praise the kind waitstaff and bartenders. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, with pool tables and a dog-friendly outdoor area. Visitors enjoy the classic cheeseburger, cooked perfectly with crispy potatoes/fries, and the jumbo pretzel is also highly recommended. The rotating craft beer menu features unique and exceptional varieties, with a special emphasis on craft and storytelling in a glass. The décor reflects Dayton’s rich heritage, blending rustic charm with modern touches. The staff, especially the waitress Grace, are considered warm, knowledgeable, and engaging, elevating the overall experience. The food and service are good, making it a place that feels like a bar that serves good food, with a pool room in the adjacent area. It is highly recommended for both locals and travelers passing through Dayton.
