I grew up in Ten Mile and Dayton. Live out of town now, and on a trip back, took my girls to the Lost Sea and the guide said we HAD to eat at Uncle Gus’. I had no idea it was in Ten Mile. The food was outstanding, service was amazing, atmosphere was nostalgic, friendly, and laid back. Will 100% eat here when we come back.Vegetarian options: Fried pickles were fire.
I haven't been to 'Uncle Gus's since Thanksgiving Eve 2017... but it was one of the funnest life experiences!As a contract Nuke worker at the local Power Plant, I knew I was getting laid off that Wednesday evening. Just so happened that my Lifetime Best Buddy was passing through Tennessee at that time, so we decided to connect.The ONLY food option at that late hour was 'Uncle Gus'. Atmosphere was very chill and fun. Food was amazing! I had the smoked wings with jalapeño ranch and it was spot on. Fries were crispy just the way I like them. Very cool vibe and I’m sure it gets packed on the weekends and into the night. Definitely recommend.
