“Visited Dayton and stumbled across this wonderful hidden gem of a diner. Love the friendly service and warm, home-style decor. Love the military service pictures on the wall. Definitely try the blackberry cobbler with ice cream. Great place! Highly recommend!”

“Ate there tonight with my twin toddlers and their Nana. The two employees, Lana and Kyleigh, were doing a great job. They were sweet to my kiddos, made sure we had everything we needed and got our food out quickly. We've eaten there numerous times since they've been open and have always experienced excellent service.”

“Ate here yesterday. Got chicken sweet and sour, chicken on a stick, steamed dumplings, Mongolian steak, wan ton soup as well. Was so delicious we AGAIN ordered from them today. We got more steamed dumplings, more chicken on a stick, more sweet and sour chicken, their baked crab "insanely delicious! " and more chicken on a stick. They did not disappoint. So yep. Two days in a row. We will be repeating guests. What a good job they do!”

“Holy cow! Went to pick up my absolute favorite chorizo to make breakfast burritos. Went home with a whole Kicken Chicken, coleslaw, and smoked potato salad. Peeled the skin off the chicken to make Chicken Chips in the oven later. The chicken was so juicy and full of flavor. I'll be making chicken tacos out of the left overs. The smoked potato salad was the perfect side. My taste buds are still dancing. Every time I've been to the cabin I've been treated like family. Everyone is so friendly. Absolutely amazing. 10 out of 10 will go again.”

“When we head towards Dayton, our kids specifically ask to eat at Monkey Town (they are 10 & 7). We’ve never had bad food. My husband usually gets the catfish (HUGE portions) and I get something different every time. This past time, I got the sweet and tangy chicken sandwich…. It was HUGE! I could only eat half. It was also delicious! The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is this past time the sweet tea tasted “fake”. Almost like Milo’s or something out of a gallon.”

“I am a foodie. When it comes to Mexican food I have a taste for certain Mexican foods. This restaurant is good but it's not great.( I don't personally like the salsa.) If I was going to eat good Mexican I would drive a few miles down the road to Dehlias. That being said my family likes eating at La hacienda so we go. They a great atmosphere for families. They have good burgers but no pickles( something my son loves on his burgers) and good for two fajitas that me and my wife share most times. Their menu has a wide variety from Americano, Italian, and Mexican.”
