“I'm very harsh with Italian. The food was very good; could have used more green on the plate. I had the ravioli. A creamy, savory dish, but to call the four brussel leaves and 3 microgreen sprigs a garnish is quite a stretch. It was very heavy, needed some bread or leafy green to lighten the meal. However, the marrow melted in your mouth and the pasta soaked up the red wine reduction nicely. Service was great, the server (whose name I fail to recall; you guy) was knowledgeable about the wines and recommended a lovely pinot noir. For dessert I had an espresso. Very good bean, though I believe it was stale and was sloppily poured. All in all I give the experience a 7/10. (5/10 = average, so above average but needs work). Price was perfectly fair, paid about 65 dollars after tip.“

The table wait time was minimal. Our server was so great & never missed a beat. The Nola Cheesesteak (makes my mouth water just talking about it) was DELICIOUS! Hands down, 55 South should be on your itinerary if you're in the Downtown Franklin area.“
