“55 South in Franklin is an absolute gem and truly exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. The food was outstanding, fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every dish was delicious, and you can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they serve.
What truly set this experience apart was the staff. Alanna was phenomenal, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. She made us feel completely taken care of, anticipated our needs, and struck the perfect balance between attentive and relaxed service. On top of that, David was incredible to work with when helping us accommodate a special occasion. He was extremely communicative, thoughtful, and made the entire process seamless and stress-free. His attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond made the experience feel truly special.

“Love this place! My husband and I were greeted as soon as we entered the door with the biggest smile of a Chef...you can watch your order being made~this man has skills! “The folks here were extremely accommodating to our emergency need for a medium-sized venue for our HS class reunion we held recently. We were offered a wide variety of food options and beverages and full access to their attached Wine & Spirits shop for craft beers, wines and other liquors by the bottle. I highly recommend this place for wedding showers, private parties, or other social events! Manager Rusty was amazingly helpful in planning, setting up and executing the entire package.“

“Only complaint is the bar service. They are always extremely slow and always out of what they have on the menu. Tonight it was not crowded at all and still took a while for the drinks and then they say they could not make an old fashioned because they were out of bitters. What bar is out of bitters? They couldn't go next door and buy a bottle? Their beer selection has no craft beers, IPAs, or Pale Ales. Simply the big domestics. Everything else is great but they really need help at the bar.“

“I got the smoked bologna sandwich and the pulled pork plate. The bologna sandwich was awesome. The pulled pork plate was good. The only drawbacks were the slaw and the cornbread (called litebread on the menu). The slaw was average at best. The cornbread was tasty but dry.“
