We've been coming here for years, and I'm always surprised at how good and consistent the ribs are. Love the brisket and sides also, but the ribs are moan-out-loud outer-worldly. Also always love how the owner and employees clearly care and work hard. There is no one on their phones with dirty tables here. They are clean fanatics, always moving, working, wiping and cleaning and it shows - the restaurant is spotless. It's refreshing. And It all adds up to our favorite BBQ place in the Nashville area. No small feat. There are many good ones - but this is our hands-down favorite.

Visited Hogwood BBQ for the first time today. You know you’re in the right place when they ask you if you want your brisket marbled. The brisket was honestly the best I have ever had! It was so tender and the flavor was amazing! We tried the pickles, coleslaw, potato salad, mac and cheese, and pinto beans. Every single item was amazing. The team is amazing as well. So friendly it felt like we made new friends.If you love bbq or are just curious, do yourself a favor and visit Hogwood BBQ. You will be happy you did!

Hogwood was catered to an event at the company I work for. That was the best BBQ I've had around here! Not fatty at all. I could actually just eat it without having to pick fatty pieces out.

My friend and I had lunch here today….it was awesome! I had the best ribs today that I’ve had since I moved to the Boro area; that was eight years ago. The owner was there and introduced herself; very friendly.Make it your business to go and dine here!??

First time ever in and they were out of baked potatoes it was 6/7 p.m.cant remember correct time it'd been nasty outside rain,some snow so I was understanding about it so I ordered the pork nachos got it home opened it up there may have been two bites of the pork meat ,no cheese it was terrible and I hated that cause I'd lov3 to eat there but it cost to much for nothing ??

In town for work and stoped in for dinner. Had the Hogwood sampler. Everything was really good. The coleslaw (vinegar based) was different from any I’ve had before and was really good. I love grits so I had to try them. They were pretty good. Dinning room was really nice and clean. Definitely glad I stoped in and will be back in if work has me back this way again.

I came in thinking I would get an old fashion style BBQ but wow it was tasteless. I got the two meat sampler and it was pretty dry. For the price I was paying, I wasn’t full. The Mac n cheese was decent, but the cole slaw had no flavor. Fancy spot with no flavor? No thanks! Maybe next
