My husband and I love stopping into Kilwins for a sweet treat after a movie or dinner. The dark chocolate buckeyes are divine! Such a fun atmosphere too you can watch them make fudge while you decide which chocolate or ice cream to try.

I had the toasted coconut ice cream. I’m not really a fan of coconut, but this was absolutely delicious! The friendly lady that took care of me was so sweet. I wanted a small cone, but I got it in a child size dish that she recommended and it did not disappoint!!! I want to go back here for dessert later lol!

Used to be our favorite place for ice cream. Prices have gone up, which is understandable, but portion sizes have gone down. The dipped waffle cones look pathetic. They don't even give you an inch of chocolate all the way around. Pretty sure they made them smaller too. They also started weighing all the cones instead of just filling them. I'm sure they will give some justification about the fat content and how they are weighing to make sure you get it all, but the reality is they are giving less and charging more. There are plenty of other premium ice cream stores in town that have just as high fat content that haven't reduced what they give you.

The experience at Kilwins was exceptional. As we walked in, we were hit with many different amazing smells, it drew me and my girlfriend in immediately. We strolled over to the ice cream bar and were greeted by a friendly and welcoming employee named Nina and she did not disappoint. She recommended to us the Apple Pie ice cream with caramel sauce on top, it was phenomenal. While we were there, we also sampled the chocolate peanut butter fudge and peanut pralines, both were fresh and scrumptious. I could not recommend this place and employee any higher. Cannot wait to go back!

My family stopped in for ice cream one evening after a long day and were so happy we did. Everything is so good. The staff was kind and helpful with me and my three littles and we all had a great time enjoying our ice cream and looking at and buying some treats for another day!

After selecting our Carmel apples and ice cream to purchase, one of the people working mentioned they were only accepting cash due to their internet being down today. I needed to leave my already scooped ice cream and other items at the store and walk down the street to the ATM for cash that also charged me an additional fee. My wife and I really enjoyed the ice cream but it wasn’t a good experience with their service due to the store worker not mentioning we needed cash before having our whole order ready to be paid for. There should also be clearly posted signs on their door at times when only cash is accepted so that people can be notified before entering to make their purchases.

This is one of my favorite spots in Franklin, and have been coming here for years. Tonight I had one scoop of all American two berry pie with hot fudge in a cup. Delicious! But $10.20? That’s just too expensive….
