The best naan and chicken tikka masala ever! It never disappoints.

We were visiting Nashville, and during our visit took time to eat at Saffron for Indian meal. Unfortunately our experience was not anywhere close to good. The food served was not fresh, our gravies/base curry for the Paneer and Chicken were the same with extra salt. The Garlic Nan’s were cold and dry. When we raised this as a concern to the staff at the counter in the restaurant, first they disagreed saying that it is not possible as no other customer had come and shared this as yet (it was 11:30am) and then all the man said was thank you for your feedback. No correction for us or any of the forthcoming customers, no acknowledgment of making it up for us. Overall poor quality food, bad service and expensive. We were very disappointed.
Also, their packaging is substandard and cannot hold the curry. It started leaking from the bottom because of the cheap quality of the bowls used while serving the food.

I got shrimp biryani, and it was delicious. Everything was fresh with lots of flavor. The staff is always very friendly. Saffron Kitchen is one of my husband and mine's favorite places to get lunch downtown.

This restaurant is located at the Assembly Food Hall, which has a great worldly modern ambiance! Ordered the chicken marsala rice bowls & butter naan. Pretty Good! It is a mild level of spicy, but we didn't specifically ask if we could have it hotter, either. There were a few interesting items on the menu, and time permitting, we would go back.

Very authentic! And when I ordered, the person asked if I was vegetarian or vegan. Great value for the money. I’d definitely go here again!

I order 2 different naan and neither were good. This is a subpar place I would not recommend.

They have raisins and cashew in the biryani. Not a dum biryani, he will add masala and cook in front of you, Lamb is hard to chew.. if not other option in downtown nashville come and eat here 😀 won’t recommend biryani.

On the website they said that had gluten free options and then when we went there and asked about my friends gluten allergy they said everything is cross contaminated. GF people go at own risk. Idk why is says they accommodate on the website.
