We recently visited The Rutledge on a weeknight in Franklin. The restaurant was extremely clean and well kept. The staff were professional and attentive. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the atmosphere was quiet and trendy. We had the most wonderful server , Cameron M. He knew the menu well and was able to provide excellent suggestion throughout the whole meal. We started out with the delicious cornbread with honey butter appetizer and the shrimp wontons...

There were six women in our party and we picked The Rutledge because we knew we would be able to chat and hear ourselves unlike most restaurants. The Rutledge did not disappoint. The burgers and shrimp and avocado salad were very good. Ice tea wonderful. Service was excellent.
