Traveling thru town and based on other reviews decided to stop in. Glad I did! Grew up in Southern California with lots of mexican food, so I’m kinda picky. Ordered quesa birria and it was amazing! Would highly recommend stopping here. *Note - I’m from out of town and when I went to the Water St location it doesn’t look like the pic I saw in reviews and I was a little hesitant to go in. Go in if Google takes you to this location, it’s good food!
Kid-friendliness: My aunt and uncle have a two year old who is a bundle of energy, they let us move tables early into our arrival and gave us the whole patio to ourselves so the two year old could run around to his hearts content without disrupting the other guests.
I married a Latina, so the Mexican food bar starts very high… Rice and beans were both good, prefab taco shells sadly are the norm in this neck of the woods…wish they would get on board with making their own corn taco shells. I ordered a chili Relleno…they used white American cheese instead of Monterey cheese, not good! Wife enjoyed her margarita, I ordered a very large Dos XX’s .
