Went to Koi for a birthday. (Our first visit too) Smells so bad, you gag just walking in the door. Told the waitress we had someone with allergies. Food needed to be cooked separately. Chef asked about the allergies, then proceeded to cook all meals together, despite several people telling him he could kill the guest of honor due to allergy issues. He said ok. Kept cooking. Served her. She could not eat anything and they refused to help in any way. Then they made us pay for the meal she could not even eat. Will NEVER go back. Would not recommend 😕

When I am in Gallatin I sometimes go here for dinner. Food has been good. Usually order hibachi, steak and lobster. Parking lot is compact so parking can be a bit of a problem especially when they are busy.

Being new to the area we wanted to try and get some decent sushi. We were there on a Saturday night and surprisingly we had the restaurant to ourselves. The food was excellent and we definitely plan on going back.

They definitely could do better cooking my steak where it didn’t taste like it was burnt and no flavor what so ever definitely won’t be my choice to eat at this place use to be amazing over the years it just not the same in my opinion

Such an amazing experience. We drove in from Nashville just to eat at this hibachi place. Some of the best fried rice I’ve ever had. They had so many sauces to choose from and my chicken and steak were cooked perfectly. The staff was so professional and our hibachi cook made our experience so entertaining. Will definitely be back!
Having the latest menu in Koi the Chicken Ramen with tonkotsu broth it so delicious and savory I will definitely check out also the other Ramen next time

Compared to Mikado's and Sakura, it was a bit more eclectic. A bit smaller than the others which gave it a more cozy feel. It's the Only place I know of that serves Japanese Sodas‼️ The Dinner for two was especially affordable, nice touch I haven't seen others offer.

The food is absolutely delicious and the portion sizes are well made to suit someone like me who always is looking for larger portions at a good price.
The service I would say has been the best part about this place. The hostess that greeted me answered my questions and was very enthusiastic and encouraging for me to try the hibachi (which will definitely have next time I visit) and the waitress who served me, I hope I spell it correctly, Mary was absolutely delightful, she answered my questions and gave me grace when I was a little confused, she was very friendly and patient with me. If possible she deserves some kind of reward.
The only thing that bothered me is not really an issue at all, just a minor inconvenience that the tv interrupted the music.
