Starr Ranch offers a nice ambiance with a private event room, bar, and outside area, including a nice big outdoor patio that is dog friendly. The food is consistently good, with popular items like Smoked Prime Rib on Saturdays, chicken dip, mozzarella logs, and the Fried Green Tomato BLT. Chef James creates delicious vegan dishes. Shrimp and grits is really good, and the French Dip was yummy. The pretzel appetizer with cheese for dipping was good too. The service is fast, friendly, and attentive, making for an overall great experience. The restaurant is clean, safe, and located just off the square in Gallatin, making it a great spot to visit. There is easy wheelchair access with a ramp in the back and plenty of parking, mostly around back. Live music adds to the fun atmosphere.
