Went November 18th between @4-5:00 & ordered the Texan Sampler. Ribs were good, brisket ok, pulled pork was dry, sausage was very dried out. The baked beans & fries were the best thing on the plate. I will say the manager came by & asked how our meal was. I am one that doesn’t complain, but when you’re paying $30 for the plate, I thought I needed to mention it. We tried Bennett’s BBQ in Gatlinburg for the first time and boy was it great. The salad bar was fresh, clean and delicious. The bbq was amazing. We got the sampler platter. The highlight of our lunch was definitely our server Alisha. She’s been at Bennett’s for over 10 yrs and you could definitely tell. We wanted to love it, went today at 1pm, 10/22. Parked out front, no wait.... great. Sweet waitress, great service.I ordered the sampler loved the sausage and chicken! Brisket: tasted like roast, dry and tough, no smoke. Ribs: dry, overcooked, small portions, no smoke. Pulled pork: chewy, no smoke, Collards: canned, with some seasoning.
