Chesapeake's Seafood and Raw Bar

Visited Chesapeake’s last Sunday and it did not disappoint! Our server, Larry, was highly impressive from start to finish and we had great conversation, not trite, but also not invasive. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! We went with the broiled seafood platter, and WOW, just WOW. The shrimp were the best I’ve ever had, the crab cake was loosely packed and tender, not overrun by onion or garlic flavoring, but rather crab. What an idea! We finished with fresh strawberry shortcake. Perfection. The restaurant was quiet, staff was attentive and friendly, and food was outstanding. What are you waiting for?! GO!!!

As always, their expertise in making some of the finest food continues to amaze us. This was our 10th time bringing others with us because we get so excited every time we come to Gatlinburg because we know we're coming here for dinner. Their lobster is outstanding, their creamed spinach Marie is beyond delicious! My husband loves the broiled seafood platter so much that he orders it every single time. Nina was our server and she was phenomenal. I highly recommend asking for her to be your server for the evening. She's very personable and kind. Keep up the great work! We will be back!

This is a very popular restaurant in downtown Gatlinburg, but no parking and reservations are necessary! I had Swordfish steak that was cooked beautifully and had fresh onion rings on the side. A great meal, crowded restaurant but great service! Wife had shrimp skewers too much to eat but said they were delicious! Wedge salad also quite tasty!! Wine and alcohol selection to the moon! You will not be sorry you ate here!

When my food was delivered to the table, the waitress accidentally dumped the plate onto the table. She took it away and cleaned up the table, and my meal was brought back a couple of minutes later. There's no way they were able to cook a new meal in that timeframe. I had ordered grilled shrimp and it was undercooked. The server failed to notice that I had left all my shrimp uneaten. 

Our waiter was amazing and helpful. He was very personable and the food was absolutely amazing. I had the oysters and the snapper

The menu choices were great. We had tuna, swordfish and red snapper entrees. Everything tasted great and fresh. I love how the menu wasn't a typical fish menu and the dishes were creative and very tasteful.

Dawson was our server and he was awesome. Excellent service! All of our food was delicious. I have a gluten allergy and the manager came out to answer any questions. I appreciate that. We had raw oysters, crab dip and blackened grouper-all wonderful! You get a view of the river running through town. Great experience!

Food was absolutely divine and you get a great portion for the price. Better seafood than you can get at the beach.

The shrimp skewers were bad. Smelled like pneumonia. Manager took the skewers off the check. Service was ok. Food was not served hot

The BEST restaurant to eat at in Gatlinburg. We always come here to celebrate our Anniversary. This year we celebrated our 41st! Service and food is amazing!!

Wow, what a find. Great seafood in the mountains of Tennessee? It started with friendly attentive service. You can always tell a very well managed restaurant, everyone checks on you whether they are your assigned server or not. The food was well prepared. The vibe is clean modern and just the right noise level. They are just doing it right. A+
