As a Latina that supports Latin Foods restaurants that are Small Businesses this was an absolute disappointment & waste of money. The food was microwaved. Bean Dip, Tortilla Chips were stale, the Carne Asado plate was put in the microwave with the Slices of Avocado and all. And YES you can tell when food is warmed up in a microwave. The Tamal 🫔 de Elote was dry to the point that I was chocking while swallowing. The owners should revisit their restaurant quality. And the food was expensive for the type of service here. Could’ve spent the same for the TexMex Restaurants in Downtown Gatlinburg. Not to mention the stench when you walk in, which I shouldve trusted my gut and left then. Sorry but not sorry, again Im all for the Authentic Spanish small business restaurants, but this was highway robbery.

Since you can't rate it without stars, that's why I selected just one.

We came for a late lunch or early dinner. Had taco salad, rice and queso chicken and tamales, all good. Dine in.

My husband and I were really disappointed this visit. The food and service used to be really good. We think they must have new owners. You no longer order from your table. They have a hard to read menu on the wall behind the register. You have to pay before you get your food. And said food is extremely bland. I ordered the Honduras tacos. The shredded chicken had ZERO seasoning. I mean, I don't think they even salted it! It was just bland shredded chicken wrapped inside a fried tortilla smothered with raw shredded cabbage.
The service was very lacking as well. We got our food then never saw our server again. She didn't come back to see how we liked our food or if we needed anything. We won't be going back.
TLDR; Save your money and eat someplace else.

This is probably the only authentic Honduran and Mexican food in Gatlinburg. The prices are a lot better than what you find in the downtown restaurants. The baleadas are really good. It is your typical Hispanic store/ restaurant combo. Highly recommend!

Amazing food with great portions! More expensive than authentic Mexican/Honduran food you might find in other cities, but still better priced than anything in downtown Gatlinburg. Quick service and you can do some grocery shopping while you wait.
Perfect after a hike. Easy pop in restaurant with delicious food!

The place is small, we arrived at 9 and the waitress said they were already closing, she didn't seem in a good mood, so we better leave

They have a schedule and they close 2 hours before, people greet you in a bad mood, if they don't want to serve people who work on something else
