If I didn’t have to I leave a star I wouldn’t. Me and my friends went into this location at 2:15 actually not even 20 minutes ago and was told they were giving us our money back and not serving us because we were to intoxicated!! I was literally petting a dog and my friends were laughing because of something I said! Will NOT be back to this location. They said its because we have been to two other tastings. First off how would she know that and second I have been in there trashed before and never have been done that way! Crazy yall offered me a job not long ago and this is the main reason I won’t come back! Surglands is the BEST!!!!!!

Not worth the money for just a t-shirt and a sampling……tour was the same thing as walking into the screen doors across from the store and seeing the mash and still. Tour needed more information and a more “behind the scenes” experience. Very disappointing. Brooklyn was hilarious and entertaining but the tour itself sucked

Hard pass on this place. Stopped at one of the Gatlinburg locations to sample a bourbon, ponied up the necessary payment to do so, and was THEN told “oh, we can’t find an open one.” Walked down the road to the other one and asked a cashier if they had one open that I could try, and was told “we should, just ask at a bar.” Bars were all completely occupied and I was ignored at the three that I stood around waiting at.

Gave up and walked down to Sugarlands and bought a bottle of their Roaming Man instead.

Good ambience and fun people.

I spent the last few days here with our combined 8 children. We spent hundreds. On our final purchase they refused to honor my husband's first responder discount. Meanwhile they have honored it everytime the last few days along with other distilleries in the area. Obviously Kimberlyn's hatred toward our nations law enforcement is evident and reflects upon Ole smokey liberal polices. I won't be back ever. Please support Sugarlands! Update: i returned my purchase

Loved the Moonshine Tour! Such a great time! It was pretty short for the amount of money, but it was neat learning all that nonetheless! You get a moonshine tasting of about 7-9 different flavors and a free t-shirt!

a lady Britney there was absolutely no help! She was very rude and told us to stop tasting. I would recommend the place not the employee!

Alexis Gamez Perez

Rude bartender at the tasting area. Looked at my ID very weirdly. Then had a nasty attitude. But treated the people next to me like they were family and was very welcoming to them. I walked away. I am an educator who does not take disrespect lightly. I don’t have the time or energy to deal with nonsense.

Unique store with a variety of flavored moonshine.

Ole Smoky used to be a regular stop for me, my family, and friends every time we visited Gatlinburg, but after this disgraceful experience, I will NEVER go back.

After three days of tastings, I was ready to drop nearly $500 on moonshine and bourbon using a VISA gift card with a confirmed $500 balance. The cashier—lazy and clueless—insisted the card didn’t work and refused to do anything beyond swiping it. When I suggested trying another machine, she called in her so-called “manager,” who was even worse: rude, dismissive, and completely unwilling to help. The absolute incompetence was staggering.

To add insult to injury, when I contacted the merchant later, I discovered the real issue: these knuckleheads didn’t even bother to type in the security code on the card! $500 lost because of their sheer laziness and stupidity.

This was the most humiliating and infuriating experience I’ve ever had as a customer. A $500 purchase meant nothing to them, and their attitude made it clear they couldn’t care less about my business. I could’ve easily used my no-limit AMEX, but why reward such horrible service?

I’ve never been so humiliated. A $500 purchase meant nothing to them, even though other customers weren’t spending.

Shutting down 10 minutes before they are supposed to be. Wasted our time by walking over here. SUGARLAND is still open

What a fun experience. The place was super busy, but after a short wait, we were able to belly up to the bar and start our taste testing. Our bar tender was awesome. Super friendly and a barrel of laughs. We loved all the great samples, and they had a great deal going on, so we came home with plenty to drink. If you visit all 3 locations and get a stamp, you get a free T-shirt. We will definitely come back for another visit..

Tim was a great guide to how Ole Smoky Distillery makes their moonshine. The tasting was a great experience as Tim walked us through the different tastings and a bit of history of Popcorn Sutton.
