Pizza-Rio The Brazilian Way - Gatlinburg

The food is such a wide variety there is sure to be a pizza for everyone in your group! The appetizers and dessert are my favorite!

I think you just expect the food to be better when you pay as much as you do.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The servers were so friendly and the atmosphere, absolutely beautiful on the river. So many different types of wings & pizza, the meatballs were delicious and the dessert pizzas, I couldn’t pick a favorite. This is a MUST try in Gatlinburg. We will definitely visit again!!

Compared to the location in Pigeon Forge, we were not impressed by this location in Gatlinburg. We arrived for dinner around 6:30pm and were seated within a few minutes and order the Brazilian way. Sides were ok however the pizzas seemed off. It was like the crust was over cooked (and hard) while the toppings were placed on top without baking along with the crust. Best part was the desserts but there seemed to be some confusion among the staff on which dessert toppings were actually offered. The strangest experience that stuck with our table during and after the dinner was the server mentioning to us that this restaurant was pretty expensive prior to us ordering. We don't know what he meant or was trying to insinuate but this singular comment kind of turned the mood sour from that point on.

This was a super fun place! We were expecting a regular pizza experience but this was different. They bring you all different types of pizza and you can get a slice of whatever flavor you want. And there's dessert pizza too which was really creative and tasty. The service is also amazing. I mentioned that I didn't want pork and suddenly all of the different servers knew and started offering me only vegetarian options. Plus WE SAW A BEAR in the creek right before we left! 10/10 recommend!

An out of this world experience. The atmosphere is spectacular. We even saw a bear walking in the river during our dinner! We did the Brazilian experience… A meal to remember. Delicious from beginning to end! Amazing value for the price!! It only stinks that parking is so hard to find… But that is definitely not their fault. It’s totally worth the extra time finding a parking spot. 10/10 stars for us!

This is an incredible concept: pizza served Brazilian way. They bring you unlimited amounts of pizza of every item on the menu. Including five different dessert pizzas. The pizza was great, the service was fantastic!

Took my family there so they could experience the Brazilian pizza rodízio, something that I grew up with in Brazil. They absolutely loved it! Plus, we all loved the service and the atmosphere there.
This place has become our most-go now whenever visiting Gatlinburg.

Absolutely amazing experience. The value for the money is extremely worth it. My only regret is we didn't find Pizza Rio during our first trip 3 years ago. Thank you, Pizza Rio team for an amazing experience and amazing food!

These guys threw out the rule book, and they hit it out of the park! Once you are seated, you can choose between two different serving options. I believe the only difference between the two is whether or not you get the appetizer options, for a few bucks price difference. We did choose to, and are glad we did. Both the Caesar and house salad were delicious, the house was a bit unusual, but really good. They brought some bread with it that was good, as well. We got garlic Parm wings, and we both think those are the best wings we've ever had. Then the servers bring around a variety of pizzas, and you get to pick which ones they put on your plate. They're thin slices, so you get to try a lot of them. We ended up getting probably 3/4 of the varieties of pizza they have, and all of them were great. Most of the ones we enjoyed more were the ones with more unusual toppings. The desert pizzas were also really good.

Beautiful escape from the madness of Gatlinburg. In fact, it's likely the only place I actually really enjoyed, apart from the mountain coaster across the street. I can highly recommend. The staff went out of their way to work with my allergies, eggs and wheat, and made sure that I left satisfied. Everyone eating pizza raved about it, especially the dessert pizzas. They will make anything you want from the menu so be sure to ask in advance for the ones you want to try, it is all you can eat and served in the Brazilian steakhouse style. The only suggestion might be to have a salad only option. The place is decorated really cute, and it is right in the river with beautiful peaceful views. A must try.
