We had the food bar as there was a limited selection of sandwiches on the menu, however it was well stocked with fried chicken and ribs, fish and many vegetables. They also had a salad bar and some choices for desert/ pudding/ fruit. The service was good but they seemed short handed as most restaurants are these days. Will be back next time we are in the area.

This town was so commercial and dynamic, but there were not too many restaurants open for breakfast in the morning. Some popular restaurants were packed. This Shoney’s was not crowded and served well. They got a fresh salad bar with many items. We had a takeout order of sandwich combo. The sandwich tasted juicy with toasted bread and many fresh vegetables.

Vegetarian options: Salad bar

Parking: This street had plenty of parking lots at the back of each block and the price was reasonable.

On a very busy Friday after Thanksgiving morning, this place showed that they’re full of rockstars. Each employee we interacted with friendly, professional and made for a great experience. Bobbie was our server and she was something special.
It was cold outside so patrons waiting for tables chose to line up and wait inside. I would have expected the staff to ask them to stand outside because there isn’t a lot of room for extra bodies. The crew at this Shoney’s were unphased by the extra bodies inside/in the way and worked around them. It’s clear they go above and beyond!

Good food! Amazing service!

Wonderful wonderful experience, the best ever at a Shoneys. We arrived with just an hour before closing at 8pm. Usually we won't go that late but working as a craft vendor in the convention center, well, it's very close by and convenient after a long hard day.
The place looked empty, but we popped in to ask if they were open. The waitress greeted us with a welcoming smile, her manager was equally inviting, but we were correct. The restaurant was empty of any patrons. After we took a tour of their buffet choices, we were in! The buffet looked beautiful! Clean, fresh turned pans, nothing dried out, looked tasty and it was full looking.
Delicious! Everything was hot, tasty and wonderful. Our server was sweet, friendly and took care of us very well. As a prior restaurant owner with over 30 years experience, this Shoneys met and exceeded every expectation. Melissa was so accommodating and friendly. Patrick was the manager during our visit and he was exceptional as well. He made me some torpedo rolls, they are my favorite Shoneys signature item. They were so good!
Probably the best looking buffet I've ever seen with only an hour left.
Thank you Patrick and Melissa for making us feel welcomed!

Coming to Shoneys is always one of the highlights of my vacation down south. The people are very friendly, the prices are excellent, and the food is great. I don't need a huge selection for breakfast. I just want the main things to be great, which they are. The biscuits with gravy and bacon are always delicious. Add the special mushrooms for the eggs and that's it.

My favorite breakfast place.

It was really great being able to walk right in and get seated and have the breakfast buffet ready, hot food, fresh and delicious. We loved it so much and we ended up eating here three times in a week while we were vacationing in Gatlinburg. I was really surprised that it wasn't packed with people which made it nice and it was really convenient, plus the walk wasn't very far at all. Great customer service.
