I’ve visited the Smoky Mountains so many times in my life. This was the first time visiting the Trout House. I will be back, though. Service was great and friendly. They have their own parking across the street. Plus, the food was so good. I got the grilled trout which was a lemon pepper flavor with baked potato and okra. Everything was delicious. The hush puppies and chili sauce for the table was great too. Highly recommend if you enjoy fish.
My husband and I went to Gatlinburg for our honeymoon in October. The Smoky Mountain Trout House was my favorite restaurant we went to while we were there for a week. We got the trout fritters for an appetizer and they were delicious! I’ve never had anything like them. I got the blackened trout. Delicious. Best trout I’ve ever had!
Wonderful place a bit off the well traveled path. Amazing fresh trout was delicious. The people were amazing. Quaint is the best way to describe this "inn like" eatery.
