Tom & Earl's Back Alley Grill

The food was very good. Best chili cheese fries I've ever had. Beans, jalapenos, onions, etc... It was fantastic, with real ingredients. The star of the show was Danielle. She was very busy, running all over the restaurant and behind the bar and everywhere. But when she interacted with me and my wife, she was genuine, and nice, and fun, and we felt like we were talking to an old friend. We almost went back just to see her again, but we didn't have time. Okay, the time is the problem. The host wasn't at the door where we were told to wait to be seated. We stood at the door for approximately ten minutes, and then the host (a big guy) showed up from somewhere else in Gatlinburg to seat us. Very unwelcoming and not the best first impression. Fortunately, Danielle saved the day.

Everything’s really good. The ceiling fan makes the cheese for the nachos cold a bit faster nonetheless still good & would come back

Great little place to eat! We stopped in for a quick bite and were pleasantly surprised at how great both the service and the food turned out to be. Our waitress was awesome and the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there, which gave the place a good vibe. The prices were great for both our meal and the mixed drinks we ordered and the burgers and sandwiches are delicious. We will definitely stop back in the next time we are visiting downtown!

Came for lunch with my son after Anakeesta , I was told to wait 10 minutes outside - 20 min passed by and then was told they are on a 15 min break??? EMPTY RESTAURANT lmao As A hospitality professional who has traveled some bit - this is the most ridiculous establishment ever encountered….anywhere

We where in town for a short visit and stopped by here because it said dog friendly and i can not say enough good about our waitress she was amazing super friendly to us and the pups brought water for them right away and then when we ordered food she said they make burger patties or chicken for dogs no seasoning. She was so thoughtful. This place gets 5 stars because it truly is 5 star all around! The hillbilly Philly was amazing and the sides aren't left to the wind the green beans are amazing as is the loaded potato salad! We truly enjoyed the entire meal!!! We will return next time hopefully with friends and family!

Average food very small inside had to eat at bar. Air conditioner vents were leaking water from ceiling on to bar. Waitress was great host not so much.

Great food, great atmosphere, and great service! This place has been a staple for our visits since we first visited Gatlinburg 17 yrs ago.

The food was so good! You will not leave hungry. The staff is very friendly, customer service was great!

We ate there the three nights we were in Gatlinburg and it was delicious. The portions were large you definitely get your money's worth, the wait staff were very friendly and the last night we were there we they had live music it was great definitely recommend! We would definitely go back!

Gotta say one of the better bars with food. Food better than single size draft beer option. Perfer large draft options but food was above the average expectations. We will return tomorrow for sure.

They turned us away because we were a party of 15 said they don’t serve parties over 8 I asked about sitting separate and she said no we don’t have enough room.

We entered the establishment and were told from behind the bar to sit anywhere. We were given menus with a promise to be right back. We waited and waited. Nothing. Then a family shows up and gets menu's and gets to put in drink orders. Still no recognition from the server that she had not helped us. Feeling frustrated, we walked out.

Rude waitress & bar staff
