We are from Michigan and a local friend recommended here for dinner. It’s a small restaurant in the middle of the mountains. They were super busy which was great to see. Be patient because they appeared to be short handed, however the staff was friendly and working their butts off. You could see them hustling as fast as they could. Food was hot when we got it and very good.
We had the best experience here. We are from out of town and the hospitality the kindness the food came out fast and our drink cups were never dry. We will definitely be back when we vacation again!!!
Very nice employees. The fried okra was very good. The biscuit was just about one of the best biscuits I've ever had.
The rest was just ok for us. The mashed potatoes had a crunchy patch like they were too long in a warming pan ( sorry). The country fried steak wasn't my cup of tea, but hubby ate what I didn't.
The hush puppies were very good too.
The waitress was extremely attentive but not overbearing. Just right as Goldylocks would say.
