Nice store but not a lot of products. Stock up at Food City.

Great place to find items for dietary restrictions (e.g. gluten free) or preferences (e.g. vegetarian/vegan). Unique finds- perfect for gifting (e.g. cards, earrings, snack items, etc.) Attentive customer service. Close to other boutiques and artsy stores.

We ordered sandwiches before heading for a long hike and they were delicious. We are mostly vegetarian and did not find many great options in the area. My daughter gushes about the grilled vegetables wrap and I loved the lentil burger. The seasoning was really tasty. Sandwiches come with a side. Those are tasty too. There is a great selection of relatively inexpensive, natural drinks, too. The sandwiches are under $10, too. So it’s a great option for taking into the park to eat during a hike.

What a delightful shop. Stopped in after a hike for a nice light lunch. Veggie wrap and potato salad were exactly what I needed. We picked up something to make for dinner while we were there! The staff and the atmosphere made it a perfect stop for a couple of weary hikers.

The best place to get a healthy meal in Gatlinburg. The shop has nice crafts and a lot of supplements to choose from. Jan the owner was fantastic. I suggest the chicken salad sandwich with potato salad

Outstanding, lovely wholesome space to recharge and ground. Yummy meal and water comes from a Berkey filter. Uber cool.

Timings need to be updated properly , whenever I go for a veg wrap it’s not available. Tried 9 am, 3.30 pm

The lentil burger was really good. The side salads were tasty as well. The hot wrap could have used some more sauces and filings. Overall a very cute cafe/grocery store with a variety of plant products and options to eat.

Whole Earth Grocery, good things for the body and soul? What wasn’t good for my soul was how my dad and I were treated when visiting there for the 1st and the last time. We decided to check out the local grocery store as we both love to support small businesses. Upon entering, I asked if they had a public bathroom. I was told no, which is totally fine. I know some businesses allow usage & others don’t. We browsed around and I noticed the young lady kept popping up asking if I needed anything. It seemed nice at first but then started to feel like I was being watched. My dad decided to leave to go use the bathroom at the pancake place across the way as he’s 73 and can’t mess around with bathroom breaks. As I was leaving, I partially over heard a couple asking the employee a question and she responded to them that “yes we do, it’s down the hall on the left”. I left because I wanted to grab my spouse who was at Dahls Chainsaw Art Gallery. I thought he would really like some of the items for sale at the grocery store. We both love antiques and there were items I thought he’d want to buy. As I’m walking back into the store I see this couple exiting. I asked them if they knew where the bathroom was. They politely said yes, it’s down the hall on the left. It turns out they do have bathrooms for public use, it just depends on the color of your skin. The Caucasian couple was allowed to use the bathroom but my dad and I who have olive skin color were not allowed. As I walked into the store, I saw the young lady bolt towards the older lady and whisper something to her. They both made eye contact with me and I knew right then and there they were talking about us. I’m assuming they were talking about how they got busted being racist. My husband was livid and said there’s no way I will spend a dime in this place. When I left the shop it felt like a punch to my gut. I felt sadness, anger and sick too my stomach the remainder of the day. The way my dad and I were treated was not good for our soul.
BTW, my husband spent close to $1K between the chainsaw shop, the Spinery shop and the jam and jelly store. I’m sure my money isn’t too brown for you but I refuse to support a business who treats people based on the color of their skin. Did you think my 73 year old father was going to put graffiti on the walls or steal your toilet paper? Shame on you. I hope you get the business you deserve! I hope others read this and decide to shop where all customers are equally valued.

No kidding, the best chicken salad sandwich I’ve ever had. I try to save my trips to Whole Earth Cafe for times when I’m needing that ‘special something’. The flavor of the chicken salad sandwich has been consistent over the last several years I’ve been going here and is second to none. This sandwich has honestly turned bad days around for me. Great prices, great staff and customer service. I recommend this place to all my guests that come stay with us.

Awesome local spot! Great selection of both grab-and-go foodstuffs and snacks, health and beauty products, as well as a sit-in café eatery. We had both chicken and tuna salad sandwiches and wraps and they were healthy and delicious! The vibe is eclectic and welcoming. If you’re looking for a quieter, healthy, non-touristy haven, this is your spot! Loved it!

We are traveling through Gatlinburg and I have two vegans. It can be a challenge to find places with menu items they can eat without making substitutions, omitting toppings, etc. this place was great! They had the cold veggie wraps - one with pasta salad and one with potato salad. My other daughter and I had the chicken salad - one as sandwich and one as a wrap. Everything was delicious and the staff was super nice! I give two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Listen here bucko! In a world full of allergens, comes the hero we never knew we needed....until the doctors told us we had allergies :(

1) AMAZING lentil burger salad
2) friendly and lovely and patient staff!
3) an unexpected and delightful collection of tie-dyed shirts
4) came in hungry, left WHOLE (earth)
5) cute stickers
6) could benefit from a few more items, but it's wholesome, local, and independent, so what could you want. Quirky essentials covered!

thanks for making my sudden new allergy life bearable on vacation!

This place is a 10/10. The lentil burger is so delicious. And the chai drink they have is amazing. Plus they have so many healthy groceries and organic body products and organic vitamins. I will definitely become a regular here. Amazing customer service as well.
