“This is going to be an odd review. This is about 925 not the pizza place, the pizza place phenomenal.
I've been twice now. Both times the service was horrible, slow, pretentious. Almost annoyed that you're there. (Except this one girl I wish I knew her name she worked tonight and had a Frankie's blue shirt on. Wish she was my server every time, but she wasn't she just brought our boxed up food at the end)
Also they charge for bread like 6 bucks, think I paid 12 all together, but it's worth it.
Now more importantly, the food.
The food is worth every bit. I had a 545 reservation tonight and I wish I had two more hours to eat there.
I could just sit and enjoy it from open to close it's that good.
We had the bread, mozzarella platter (slightly wetter than the first time I went but still fire)
Wife had beets. Highlight of the meal, ravioli (also wetter than last time but still perfect) I had the sausage brown butter. Daughter had egg plant parm. Really I would love to say this place sucks people are rude etc never coming back. But the food is so damn good it's worth it.
First time I came in they were closing early it was our anniversary and I love the pizza place so I wanted to try the restaurant.
It was amazing. Again horrible service. But amazing food. They closed early for a private party or something I can't remember. Didn't affect us because we were quick to eat and sat at the bar. But this one guy came in while we were eating and almost got in a fight with the hostess because he sat he sat there for 15 minutes before being greeted. And then the hostess was like we close in 20 mins. No where was it posted guy was pretty ticked. To us it was dinner and a show. But hey sometimes you close early.
Chefs are also really nice: should add that. Chefs there are very kind and grateful. Hopefully the waitstaff don't recognize me after posting this. I mean it's a five star review.
All I'm saying is if you go here expect Unwelcomed hospitality hahaha. Amazing food.“

“This was my first visit, and I was definitely not disappointed! Started with a garden salad with Italian vinaigrette dressing. Had meat lasagna as a main course then a slice of coconut cake for dessert. The portions were very generous, and the quality was top notch. “We’ve been dining here every once in a while since we moved here two April’s ago. It’s my favorite restaurant in White House. Perfect for all different size groups. I love it most with just my parents because we can catch up in a really cool atmosphere with really amazing food.

Kid-friendliness: I’d say it’s pretty kid friendly. Parking is always accessible, they have decent high chairs, the staff are always very sweet to my kiddos. I try to have my kids eat what is available to them and they definitely have safe options for that. My son loves the pizza!“

Nestled within the sprawling Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, Ravello one of the many restaurants inside the resort offers a taste of Southern Italy that, based on some past reviews are giving potential diners pause. This review is my opinion and may not reflect what you experience However, a recent visit was slightly short of delightful, largely thanks to Joseph our server., and the skill of the culinary squad in the kitchen that night.
My party of four adults and two toddlers were seated, quickly.
We started with the Focaccia bread, priced at $10. While the thought of paying for bread at an Italian establishment might initially seem a bit steep for some, especially when considering it's often a complimentary offering in Italian eateries, the focaccia itself was good and this establishment inside of Opreland was priced as well as a resort might command.the bread itself was Light, airy, and a perfectly crisp crust. The generous portion was more than ample for our group, and when paired with the accompanying olive oil and balsamic vinegar, it created a simple start to our meal. The quality justified the cost, even if the expectation of a free breadbasket lingered.
For our main courses, we explored a few different options. All 3 were Josephrecommended so we oredered all three
First. The Shrimp and Crab Fettuccine arrived looking enticing, a vibrant dish promising a taste of the sea. It was, indeed, flavorful, with fresh seafood notes shining through. However, if there was a few critiques ,shrimp were tiny, crab was real i could tell by the shell i wss crunching on, next it leaned slightly towards the drier side. It was very tasty, no doubt, but a touch more sauce would have elevated it.
The Lasagna, was a success. 4 Layers of pasta, meat, sauce, and cheese combined. A very rich dish, The ratio of noodle to meat to cheese was well balanced, and a comforting dish, It seemed as if careful attention was paid to its construction.. a classic done right.
The Bolognese was another highlight, arriving as a generous serving. The meat sauce was rich, savory, and deeply flavorful, and we were truly impressed. While delicious this Bolognese would have been a number 1 choice had it been served over spaghetti. The rigatoni it came with was fine, but a pairing of spaghetti would have allowed the robust sauce to truly shine. It’s a minor complaint, given the flavorful excellence.
Beyond the specific dishes, the overall atmosphere of Ravello, within the grand setting of the Gaylord Opryland, surrounded by a lush forest and sound of a waterfall, with beatuful lighting all around complemented the dining experience.
The ambiance was sophisticated yet welcoming, allowing for both intimate conversations and the comfortable presence of a family group. However, one bratty little kid who was being disrespectful to his father, got the evil eye from our whole restaurant and left shortly after.
In conclusion, our dinner at Ravello was a......... success. Joseph’s exceptional service was the main reason we stayed 30 minutes after we digested our food as he made us feel comfortable by ensuring our satisfaction at every turn.
Ravello, under the care of servers like Joseph and the more than capable hands in the kitchen, proved itself to be a genuinely worthwhile dining destination within the magnificent Gaylord Opryland Resort. It's a place where Southern Italy meet Southern hospitality, creating an experience that leaves a lasting, positive impression.
