“Sami’s Brick oven pizza is very good and freshly baked with fresh vegetables. The owner said he pays double to have only 100% pure beef for the meat balls and pepperoni, sausage he uses to make his food. It was a very refreshing experience and very affordable. I’ve ate pizza at many restaurants that were way more expensive and the food was not as fresh and made with joy love as this establishment. I’m going back for sure my go to for a pizza fix for sure. “We were actually headed to another place, when I saw this place and I said, "That better be ran by actual Italians or I'd be ticked." When I pulled up the website and their story actually tells about how the grandparents WON the immigration lottery to come to American from Italy, I told my husband that we are eating here. First, the feel is cozy and welcoming. Always a great sign. The counter is like a true deli counter and the girl working it was super welcoming as well. She took our order and was very gracious in answering our questions.Second, there are many details in the actual seating area. There are little nooks and cranies that you should look at. For instance, in the broken bricks, I found little objects. I thought of adding a picture, but some things should be left to the imagination for you to experience for the first time, in awe of course.Lastly, but not any less important, the food was absolutely phenomenal. I ordered the Caprese. I ordered it as is, so tomato, arugula, basalmic, basil, mozzarella, and something else, and a cup of potato soup. Absolutely divine. The ingredients were so simple, but the taste? Perfection! ?My husband got the Rueben as is and was drooling. He said the sauerkraut wasn't overpowering which is what is wrong with most places, and then he went back and got the tomato basil soup and loved it too...he's not even a soup guy.This is the first place he wanted to give a five stars to, other than our favorite Indian place. The only thing I'm sad about is I wasn't able to get a cannoli, but I get that they run out, it happens.Between the atmosphere, the food, the service, and the prices, this place has it all.“
“Service was great. You can order at the counter, on your phone, or with your server. The seating seemed more tuned for a few larger groups than a lot of couples or small families. Salad was pretty weak, but both of our pasta dishes were really good. “We loved their deep dish pizza, although they use canned mushrooms, so wouldn’t order mushrooms again. Ordered pizza online and selected extra cheese on one side. Never thought they would only put cheese on one side. They offered to remake my pizza but due to time didn’t want to wait. Advise that if you order online be sure to follow up with a call or see if you can add notes online. Everyone makes mistakes so no foul here. Will continue to order their pizza.“
